Key Responsibilities
Analyse payroll, compensation, and workforce data to identify trends, inconsistencies, and opportunities for improvement.
Conduct salary benchmarking and compensation surveys across relevant industries and labour markets.
Support job evaluation exercises and maintain job grading structures.
Assist in developing and reviewing salary bands, pay structures, and compensation frameworks.
Prepare compensation analytics reports, dashboards, and presentations for management decision-making.
Monitor payroll accuracy and support payroll reconciliation and audit processes.
Support annual salary review, increment, bonus, and reward administration processes.
Maintain compensation databases and ensure data integrity and confidentiality.
Collaborate with HR and Finance teams on workforce planning and compensation budgeting.
Ensure compliance with company policies, labour regulations, pension, tax, and statutory requirements.
Provide insights and recommendations based on HR and compensation analytics.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources, Accounting, Economics, Statistics, Mathematics, Business Administration, or related discipline.
Minimum of 2 years’ relevant experience in compensation & benefits, payroll analytics, HR analytics, or related HR data-focused roles.
Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including Pivot Tables, XLOOKUP/VLOOKUP, formulas, dashboards, and data analysis tools.
Experience using HRIS and payroll systems.
Good understanding of salary benchmarking, job evaluation, compensation structures, and payroll administration.
Professional certification, such as CIPM, SHRM, HRCI, or a relevant analytics certification, is an added advantage.
Strong numerical, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
Excellent attention to detail and ability to handle confidential information professionally.
Strong communication and reporting skills.
Knowledge of Power BI, Tableau, or other data visualization tools.
Understanding of Nigerian labour laws, PAYE taxation, pensions, and statutory deductions.
Strong organisational and stakeholder management skills
