About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced HSE Supervisor to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in health, safety, and environmental supervision within the construction of roads, with proven expertise in traffic management and ensuring compliance with safety standards on large-scale infrastructure projects.
Key Responsibilities
Develop, implement, and monitor HSE policies, procedures, and programs across project sites.
Conduct regular site inspections and risk assessments to ensure compliance with local and international safety standards.
Oversee and manage traffic safety operations within and around construction zones.
Deliver HSE inductions, toolbox talks, and training sessions for site personnel.
Investigate incidents and near misses, ensuring timely reporting and implementation of corrective actions.
Liaise with project management and regulatory authorities on all HSE-related matters.
Promote a strong safety culture and continuous improvement in workplace safety practices.
Requirements
Relevant HSE certifications (e.g., NEBOSH, IOSH, ISPON, or equivalent).
Minimum of 8 years of experience in HSE supervision within the construction sector.
Demonstrated experience in traffic management and control on active road construction sites.
Strong knowledge of local and international HSE regulations and best practices.
Excellent communication, leadership, and reporting skills.
